Thank you for giving a hand:)
First:
Read this short text ;)
General:
With SpamTrap you can have a look at your mail
accounts directly on your IISP(s) pop server(s)
whithout downloading your emails.
Many spam filters compare the sender's email
or words with a "black-list". SpamTrap
works the other way. It compares sender's email
and some parameters with a "white-list".
We French always do what is un-expected :D
SpamTrap filters known sender's emails
and it's up to you to 'agree' or to destroy any
other message directly on the server before downloading
them.
INSTALL
1- Copy all directories and files where Apache
can reach them ( Windows easyphp = www/ ) Linux
where you set it in your httpd.config
2- When you run ST for the first time:
This form leads to a php file which will create:
2-1- the data-base
2-2- the tables needed by ST (If you use ST on
local the text fields are already completed.).
2-3- on clicking on "Create" at the
end of the form, it will be created:
2-3-1- a directory named "inc" with
in it,
2-3-2- .htaccess and a text file .ht_notes.txt
with your login and your pass for access to the
directory if needed. (Normally you shouldn't have
to open it while on line).
2-3-3- a php file: fonct_open_db.inc.php
2-3-4- a text file gotsha.txt with your login
and password needed to connect mysql.
When all these files will be created index.html
will be erased
to let index.php alone at your site root. So it
could be smart to keep
a backup of this file.
After saving, check the text files and the php
file to see if all necessary logins and paswd have
been stored,
that'all !
merci,
JPLL
